The Waters we will fish>>
The Forgotten Coast stretches from Crooked Island Sound east. It is made up of Mexico Beach, Saint Joe Bay, Cape San Blas, Apalachicola Bay, the barrier islands of St. Vincent, Little St. George, St. George, and Dog Island and Lanark Reef to Alligator Point. It has miles of white sand beaches, grass and mud flats in the bays, creeks and small bayous off the bays including the Intracoastal Waterway. I also fish East Bay and West bay around Panama City for certain species depending on the time of year. From the beaches through the passes into the main bays and smaller back bays, there is countless opportunities to target numerous species in a variety of habitats! The Forgotten Coast not only has an amazing variety of species to target, but is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world! And you don’t have to fight the crowds!!!
I specialize in sightfishing with fly and light tackle for a variety of species along Florida’s Forgotten Coast from Panama City to Alligator Point. Species include, but are not limited to; Tarpon, Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Cobia (Ling), Pompano, False Albacore, Tripletail, King and Spanish Mackerel, and several offshore species such as Red Snapper and Amberjack when conditions allow. Not all the species listed above are available year round. We can discuss available species and design a trip that targets what is available at the time and gives the angler the best chance at success!
